lab testing
Each batch of our honey and bee products is tested in an independent laboratory. All of our products have attestation and certificates for excellent quality and conformity.
Pollen testing.
Every season, all our batches of honey are pollen tested. The test results tell us the percentage of pollens found in the honey, which helps us determine what the bees were collecting, for example, whether the batch is a Linden or Lavender variety.
The pollens are like DNA for the honey. It shows where this honey comes from and which flowers the bees visited.
We also combine the pollen testing with the all-important quality test, which is essential for the chemical analysis of the honey.
Honey testing.
Every batch of honey is sent to an independent laboratory for chemical analysis and conformity. These analyses include:
- Water content
- HMF (if honey was heated)
- Sugars content
- Ash content
- Pesticide and antibiotics
- and more
The quality of our honey and honey products is of utmost importance. As the honey, pollen, propolis and beeswax come from our bee garden, we can easily control the quality from harvest to delivery. You can check our documentation here:
